Held Together by Glitter Tape

A collage of sound, story, movement, and shared memory-making, Held Together by Glitter Tape is the culminating celebration of Open Aesthetic Assemblies: Echoes of Sensory Possibility — a year-long series of intimate, performance-based gatherings shaped by Indigenous and Black feminist, transmedia, and creative practice, co-curated by Maria Hupfield, Olivia Shortt, and SA Smythe.

In March 2026, the Faculty of Music’s Sustainable Partnerships project presents a shimmering constellation of local and international artists — an evening of fragments and frequencies stitched into a living patchwork with sonic glue, improvisation, and artistic kinship. Come witness multimedia performances, trans-sensory offerings, and joyful, collective experimentation. Join as you are. Expect the unexpected. A variety showcase relishing everything all at once — held together, just like us, by glitter tape.
