During this session, Lynette will explore how the Chinese state engages nonstate actors to implement its ambitious urbanization policies. Her publications have appeared in Perspectives on Politics, Comparative Politics, Foreign Affairs .
Lynette H. Ong is Professor of Political Science at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, the University of Toronto. Her research interests lie at the intersection of authoritarian politics and the political economy of development.
