Devon comes to the School of Cities with over 18 years of experience from the University Health Network, Sunnybrook Health Sciences, and many growth-oriented startups, as well as direct U of T experience from the Department of Surgery, supporting the Chair and Residency Programs. Devon’s career is characterized by a broad range of experiences, cementing her as a cornerstone in Administrative Operations wherever she goes. Her managerial expertise spans a wide range, from finance and human resources to event coordination, marketing, governance, and risk management.
Outside the professional realm, Devon’s heart lies in community service. She was deeply involved with the ‘Out of the Cold Programs’ and more recently, she’s been an advocate for education, holding the role of Secretary and Social Engagement Director on the School Advisory Council for her children’s school. She has been both an individual force and a collaborative powerhouse, raising millions for initiatives like the Ride to Conquer Cancer, Easter Seals, and the Terry Fox Foundation. Her 2022 nomination for the Gerald Kirsh Humanitarian Award underscores the depth of her contributions that reach well beyond her professional duties.
