Heather Baker is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations at the University of Toronto. Her work focuses on ancient urbanism, house, household and neighborhood studies as well as social and economic history. She recently published an article in Journal of Archaeological Research, touching on changes in urbanism in Babylonian cities in the first and second millennia.
