Amir Forouhar

Postdoctoral Fellow, School of Cities

Amir Forouhar is an Urban Planner and Urban Data Scientist. Amir obtained his PhD in urban planning at the Art University of Isfahan, focused on the relationship between Urban Transportation and Neighborhood Change in Tehran, Iran. His research interests are Public Transportation, Transit-oriented Development, Rail Transit System, Neighborhood Change, and Urban Displacement. He has also taught courses and workshops in Urban and Regional Planning, Land-use Planning, Spatial Analysis, Transportation Planning, GIS/QGIS, and SPSS. Amir has also worked as a guest researcher at Utrecht University, the Netherlands, and published several academic journal articles. Links to some of his articles and projects can be found here.
