Austin is an avid city-goer with a Master of Museum Studies from the University of Toronto and a double Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Film Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. A lifelong resident of the GTA, Austin is passionate about promoting the advancement of cities in innovative ways. He is eager to activate public consciousness of relevant urban issues though outward-facing, mixed-media displays of academic research and insights. He is also interested in navigating the city as a locus of society’s multi-tonal culture, such as urban expressions of music, visual arts, and public exhibitions.
