Tony Chang is a communications and digital strategy professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Culture, Communication, Information & Technology and Political Science from the University of Toronto Mississauga. He is currently completing a Master of Information in Human-Centred Data Science at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Information.
At the School of Cities, Tony supports the organization’s digital presence through web strategy, digital marketing, social media, newsletters, content development, communications, and design. His work spans brand development, graphic and document design, website management, promotional campaigns, and digital storytelling, helping make urban research and educational programming accessible and engaging to a broad public audience.
Tony’s professional interests centre on the intersections of technology, communication, and civic life – particularly how cities and public institutions can leverage information to foster more inclusive and connected communities. Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, he brings a thoughtful perspective on how people experience and navigate urban environments.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys following sports, experimenting with new technologies, and finding new ways to tell stories through digital media.
